You are our Guest when you stay with us and we will try to do whatever we can to make your stay a memorable one with the hope and expectation that you will return. (Please see our reviews) We have even had a wedding on Valentine’s Day in 2011!
We are as flexible as we can be about Check-In and Check-Out times as many of our Guests fly home in the Evening. We always try to allow you to stay until late afternoon and as all of our Villas are Keyless, you can check in whatever time you want even if it is at 4am. The only rule is that it must be on your selected day of arrival and after the time that we have given you!
We Start and End on Any Day of the Week so you are Not constrained with Arriving and / or Leaving on a Saturday which may / will reduce your cost of Air Travel / Car Rental Costs.
Our Villas are Priced ‘All Inclusive’ which means that we include, the Exit Clean (which can often be $150 – $200), Air Conditioning (which can be $100 per week), Pool Heat / Hot Tub Heat (which could be $20 – $50 per day especially in the Winter), WiFi, Smart TVs and Local Phone Calls. All of these little extra costs can add up and make, what appeared to be a good deal, a lot more expensive that first envisaged.
There Are No Extras!
There will be a supply of Toilet Rolls, Kitchen Rolls, Dishwashing Soap, Washing Detergent, Fabric Softener, General Cleaning Supplies, Condiments and Tea & Coffee along with other items that you generally don’t want to buy when you are on Vacation.
The Villas are well stocked with Kitchen Utensils, Saucepans, Cutlery, Crockery, Glassware (for Beer, Wine, Margarita’s etc) and Plastic Ware for outside use and much more. Also plenty of towels and bedding, with 2 Hair dryers and an iron in each property.
The Villas are decorated and furnished in a tasteful, South Western theme. We know that the beds are comfortable as we stay in any of the Villas on our two to three trips to the Valley of the Sun each year, and when we get the opportunity to meet our guests. We are constantly improving our Villas with New Stainless Steel Appliances, Travertine Floors along with comfortable furnishings throughout.
More Information
Why Scottsdale?
Scottsdale, whilst its own City, is really a beautiful suburb of Phoenix, with hiking trails, golf courses, tennis courts, water parks, Salt River tubing, horseback riding, an abundance of restaurants, shopping malls such as Paradise Valley and Fashion Square. Wonderful Leisure Areas such as Kierland, The Scottsdale Quarter, Old Town Scottsdale and Desert Ridge, which hold an abundance of places to wine and dine, outdoor entertainment, and great for having a wander around and sit by the small fountains on beautiful evenings, sampling cold- stone ice cream.
There is plenty of sport in the Valley with the Arizona Diamondbacks (Baseball), the Arizona Cardinals (American Football), the Phoenix Suns (Basketball), Phoenix Mercury (Women’s Basketball), the Arizona Coyotes (Hockey) and if you are into Soccer / Football, there is Phoenix Rising with Didier Drogba and Sean Wright Philips along with a few Ex Coventry Players!
What’s the Weather Like?
Summer evenings in Scottsdale tend to start from mid February and go on through to mid – late November!
But pretty much every day in the Valley of the Sun is a Sunny Day!
It is even warm after Thanksgiving to Mid February but you might get the occasional shower.
When to go?
Anytime, but we and the Valley in general get really busy from Late December (2 or 3 days before Christmas) to the end April with our Snowbirds, Sports Lovers, Baseball Spring Training, Horse-back Riders, Car Auction Enthusiasts, Golf and the Very Famous TPC Tournament at the End of January / Beginning of February.
The weather is great and there are lots of outdoor activities.
May and June is starting to warm up a bit but it is less busy and therefore less expensive. It is a beautiful time of year in the Valley.
July and August are for Sun Worshippers.
September to the End of November is a great time to go as the weather is just perfect for all the outdoor activities set in the beautiful scenery of Arizona, and lending itself to Alfresco Dining with amazing back drops. At the end of a busy day, unwind in the garden of your Villa with your own private pool.
Where to go and what to see?
The Villas are a great base for day trips to Sedona, Slide Rock, Flagstaff, Tucson, Salt River and many more destinations.
Drive up to the ‘awesome’ Grand Canyon and back in a day, though most guests choose to stay over-night to experience the Sun setting over the Canyon.
Nearby, for an unforgettable encounter with Arizona nature, enter into The Painted Desert, a living painting. Hike amongst this vast landscape of rocks in every hue.
Also, the famous ‘Four Corners’ where the states of Arizona, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico meet.
Las Vegas is drivable (takes about 7 hours when you include 2 stops) and via the Hoover Dam, which too is well worth a stop. Guests stay up in Vegas for a two or three nights, as it is further away, and so much to see and do, once you are there.
